Class 5: Answering Questions : My home district

প্রিয় শিক্ষার্থী বন্ধুগণ,

কেমন আছ তোমরা ?আশা করি সবাই ভালো আছ। আজ  তোমাদের জন্য ইংরেজি বিষয়ের My Home District থেকে  Answering questions এবং True/ False নিয়ে আলোচনা করছি।

Answer the following questions :

1. What's the name of Mamun's home district? ( মামুনের নিজ জেলার নাম কী?

Ans: The name of Mamun's home district is Kishoreganj. ( মামুনের নিজ জেলার নাম কিশোরগঞ্জ)

2.How far is it from Dhaka? (ঢাকা থেকে এর দূরত্ব কত?)

Ans: It is about 145 kilometres from Dhaka (ঢাকা থেকে এর দূরত্ব প্রায় ১৪৫ কিলোমিটার) 

3.How did it get its name? ( এটা কীভাবে এর নাম ধারণ করেছিল?) 

Ans: It got its name from the name of an old landlord  known as Brojakishore Pramanik or Nandakishore Pramanik ( ব্রজকিশোর প্রামাণিক বা নন্দকিশোর প্রামাণিক নামে পরিচিত একজন জমিদারের নাম থেকে এটি এর নাম ধারণ করেছে) 

4. What is the name of the river in the town? ( শহরের নদীটির নাম কী?) 

Ans: The name of the river in the town is the Narasunda( শহরের নদীটির নাম নরসুন্দা)

5.What are the two things you can see in the  town? ( কোন দুটি জিনিস তুমি শহরে দেখতে পাও)

Ans: We can see the largest Eid fairgrounds, called Solakia Eid Ground and well  - known Gurudayal College. ( আমরা সর্ববৃহৎ ঈদগাহ, শোলাকিয়া ঈদগাহ ময়দান এবং  বিখ্যাত গুরুদয়াল কলেজ আমরা দেখতে পাই)  

6. Who are the famous people from the town? ( শহরের বিখ্যাত লোকজন কারা?)

Ans: First woman poet Chandrabati, children’s literature writers  Upendrakishore Roy Chowdhury,Sukumar Roy Chowdhury, great painter Zainul Abedin and the first acting President of Bangladesh Syed Nazrul Islam are famous people of

the town (  প্রথম মহিলা কবি চন্দ্রাবতী, শিশু সাহিত্য রচয়িতা উপেন্দ্রকিশোর রায় চৌধুরী, সুকুমার রায় চৌধুরী, বিখ্যাত চিত্রশিল্পী জয়নুল আবেদীন এবং বাংলাদেশের প্রথম দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত রাষ্ট্রপতি সৈয়দ নজরুল ইসলাম এ শহরের বিখ্যাত ব্যাক্তিবর্গ)
