প্রিয় শিক্ষার্থী বন্ধুগণ, 

আজ English For Today পাঠ্য বইয়ের Unit - 8(Write to Me Soon) এর Lesson - 6 (Section -G) : 'Read Sima's letter to her friend Jessica ' Text টি নিয়ে আলোচনা করতে যাচ্ছি। আমরা Text টি মনোযোগ দিয়ে পড়বো  এবং কিছু প্রশ্নের উত্তর শিখবো।

Dear Jessica( প্রিয় জেসিকা),

How are you?( তুমি কেমন আছ?)  How was your trip back to London? ( লন্ডনে তোমার ফিরে যাওয়ার ভ্রমণটি কেমন লাগলো?)  I'm at home today.( আজ আমি বাড়িতে আছি) I have the flu.(আমি ভাইরাস জনিত সর্দি-জ্বরে আক্রান্ত) It's awful! ( এটা মারাত্মক!) I'm coughing a lot, and I have a runny nose.( আমি অনেক কাশি দিচ্ছি এবং আমার নাক দিয়ে সর্দি পরে ) I'm using a lot of tissues! ( আমি অনেক টিস্যু ব্যবহার করছি ! ) I also have a bad headache .( আমার প্রচন্ড মাথা ব্যাথাও )  I can't eat very much because I have a stomach ache, but my doctor says I should eat.( আমি বেশি খেতে পারিনা কারণ আমার পেটে ব্যাথা, কিন্তু ডাক্তার বলেন আমার খাওয়া উচিত) I also have a fever. ( আমার জ্বরও )Sometimes I'm very warm.(  মাঝেমধ্যে আমি খুব গরম হয়ে যাই ) Then I get cold and have chills.( তখন আমার ঠান্ডা লাগে এবং শরীর কেঁপে ওঠে) It's very strange.( এটা খুব অদ্ভুত ধরণের)

I want to go to school again soon. ( আমি শীঘ্রই আবার স্কুলে যেতে চাই) My friends can't visit me here because they can get ill easily. ( আমার বন্ধুরা আমাকে দেখতে এখানে আসতে পারেনা কারণ তারা সহজেই অসুস্থ হয়ে যেতে পারে) I hope you are fine! ( আশা করি তুমি ভালো আছ )Write to me soon. ( দ্রুত আমাকে লিখ)

1. Answer the following questions:

a) Who is the letter from? Ans: The letter is from Sima.

b) Where is the letter from?

Ans: The letter is from Sylhet, Bangladesh.

c) When is the letter sent?

Ans: The letter is sent on the 12th March,2022.

d) Where is Jessica now?

Ans: Now Jessica is in London.

e) Who has the flu?

Ans: Sima has the flu.

f) Why the flu is awful to Sima? Ans: The flu is awful to Sima because she is coughing a lot and has a runny nose.

g) Who has a bad headache?

Ans: Sima has a bad headache.

h) What does the doctor say? Ans:  The doctor says that Sima should eat though she has a stomach ache.

i) Why does Sima get cold?

Ans: Sima gets cold because she has a fever and sometimes she becomes warm. When she is warm, she feels cold in her body.

j) Why Sima's friends can't visit her?

Ans: Sima's friends can't visit her because they can get ill easily.
